Good Food Good Mood
Thanks for visiting our website. We just wanted to tell you a bit about ourselves and how we came to create The Kitchen On The Itchen!
Our names are Matt and Claire and we live here in Eastleigh, Hampshire in what would seem (from the outside) a very ordinary semi-detached house.
We met each other at college when we studied Ecology together and soon realised that we were both vegetarians, had a love for the natural world and a passion for travel. We've travelled a lot, and whilst often centred on the wildlife we could see we also very much enjoyed the food that we have tasted around the world.
Just imagine - you've been out jungle trekking all day, its hot and sweaty, you're tired and hungry and you come across a vibrant restaurant serving bowls of fragrant curry and sticky rice...heaven. These experiences and many more are what we aim to recreate at home. Our aim: to provide vibrant food inspired by world travel.
